Lately I've been dreaming about Sweden. Part of it is that this time last year, GP and I went to Stockholm and the arctic. The other part is all the snow we've had in New York this winter. We visited our friend Emma in Stockholm, which was blanketed in snow as it had been all winter. I remember being (mainly) charmed by the snow, but she looked as though if the snow had a neck she would wring it.
One of our stops in the arctic was the mining town Kiruna. I loved the design of these soda bottles. The first photo is from a cute cafe (Safari cafe?) where we ate dammsugare (translates as "vacuum cleaners," but is a delicious sweet) and the second one is from the grocery store where we looked for snacks to eat on our night train back to Stockholm.
